2025 MaryAnn Becker Memorial/PAHABC Polonia Project Scholarship Winner
ABOUT THE
SCHOLARSHIP
For the 2026-2027 academic year, (1) $2,500. scholarship will be awarded to a student who is a Berks County resident and who can provide evidence that he/she is of Polish descent.
First year college "non-renewable" scholarship is available to high school seniors pursuing their studies in an accredited post-secondary educational institution in either a
two or four-year program.

Cameran graduated from Wilson High School and has been accepted at Converse University, Spartanburg, SC, majoring in Politics with a minor in Business Administration. She was a captain and three-year varsity letter winner on the field hockey team and a four-year varsity letter winner on the track team. She is part of the mental health council, the student ambassador program and was a 6th grade camp counselor for two years. She is part of the National Honor Society, the World Language Scholars Association, a two-year NFHCA Scholar Athlete, and will be a Capstone Graduate (awarded to those who complete AP Seminar and AP Research courses in high school). She spent this past year interning at the Alvernia's O’Pake Institute with a focus on economic and community development. This gave her the opportunity to begin creating her own non-profit organization focused on providing comprehensive care to abused athletes.
