For the 2022-2023 academic year, one (1) $2,500. scholarship will be awarded by the Polish-American Heritage Association of Berks County to a student who is a Berks County resident and who can provide evidence that he/she has at least 25% Polish heritage.


First year college "non-renewable" scholarship is available to high school seniors pursuing their studies in an accredited post-secondary educational institution in either a two or four-year program. 

One scholarship each year will be awarded to a Berks County High School Senior whose project is judged by the following criteria:

-Provide evidence that he/she is at least 25% of       Polish descent

-Completion of entire application including all   required attachments.

-Must provide official high school transcript with an   acccumulative GPA of 3.0 or better

-Complete a personal profile essay which includes accomplishments, activities in and out of school, and future goals, including how you celebrate your Polish heritage

-Submission of a project in any form based on Polish culture, traditions and/or history. Students are encouraged to explore their Polish heritage and "think outside the box!"

-Project will be judged on content, neatness, accuracy and authenticity

-Written narrative why you chose the subject of your project

-The project in its' entirety along with the application and all required documentation (listed above) must be delivered to the Polish American Cultural Center at the GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St., Room 509, by March 6, 2022, on Sundays from Noon-4:00pm.

Congratulations to Karleigh Patton the 2021 PAHABC Polonia Project Scholarship awardee.  Karleigh is a senior at Exeter High School who plans to attend Kutztown University and major in Communication Design.  Presenting her with the award is Marilyn Wlazewski, PAHABC President.
