
2026 MaryAnn Becker Memorial/PAHABC Polonia Project Scholarship Winner
ABOUT THE
SCHOLARSHIP
For the 2026-2027 academic year, (1) $2,500. scholarship will be awarded to a student who is a Berks County resident and who can provide evidence that he/she is of Polish descent.
First year college "non-renewable" scholarship is available to high school seniors pursuing their studies in an accredited post-secondary educational institution in either a
two or four-year program.

Julia is the daughter of Stephen and Sherry Dybowski and attends Fleetwood Area High School. She belongs to the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, Rho Kappa (history honor society), Envirothon, and Science Olympiad. She plays flute in the marching and concert band and violin in her school’s orchestra. She plays varsity volleyball for Fleetwood’s school team as well as club volleyball for Surge Volleyball Club. When not playing, she manages the Fleetwood Boys’ Volleyball team. She also has been an active Girl Scout since kindergarten. She will be attending Misericordia University pursing a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging with the goal of becoming an MRI Technician.
